| This Hotel is an excellent choice whether for business or pleasure as it provides easy access and is well connected to the major national highways and is a mere 27 kilometres from the airport and 5 kilometres from the railway station, airport transfers may be arranged in advanced through the Hotel concierge. The Hotel was originally built as a private residence for Mr Winngate who was a political agent of the time, in 1945 Mr Winngate was transferred to Hathi Pole and the Palace was rebuilt and refurbished as a royal guest house to provide a sanctuary for visiting dignitaries, princes and high ranking British officers. |
